I plan to connect with students using technology by making learning interactive and engaging. I will use apps like Kahoot! for fun quizzes when studying for an assessment or as a way to informally check progress. I also want to utilize the app Seesaw to allow students to share their work with their classmates. Like with connecting with parents in my classroom, I will use Remind to ensure my students are always up-to-date with events coming up at school or relevant information for the day. My goal is to use these apps not just for instruction but also to build a sense of community and communication within the classroom.
